MY FIRST COASTER BUTTON
MY ROLE:
Graphic Designer
I was given the incredible opportunity to design an all-new button for Universal Orlando: the My 1st Coaster button! As a lifelong roller coaster fan, I had the best time designing this.
I went through many design ideas and iterations (many inspired by loops of course - round button, loops are round and iconic) but ultimately settled on a design with a cute little coaster dip and the letters following it! I spent a lot of time testing colors and viewing the design at a distance to ensure it stood out and was easily readable. I’m absolutely delighted with how it turned out!
I hope that this button brings joy, pride, and fond memories to the many kids (and adults!) who take that step to brave their first roller coaster in the future.
